We are looking for GL Accountant to join our R2R STC Team in our Shared Services located in Gdansk.

Your responsibilities:

  • Take actively part in the monthly / quarterly / annual closing processes
  • Work closely with Accountants and Controllers (GL/AP/AR) to ensure correct accounting as well tax procedures are followed.
  • Preparation of VAT return
  • CIT calculation and reporting
  • Processing accounting entries and ensuring completeness and correctness of data and supporting materials.
  • Cooperating timely and independently with the internal customers in line with the Service Level Agreement.
  • Prepare data for internal and external audits purposes.
  • Identify areas for process improvements.

What we looking for:

  • University degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Relevant experience in Accounting or Finance, within SSC environment as an advantage
  • Good written and spoken English
  • Good knowledge of MS Excel
  • High attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Strong organizational, problem solving and continuous improvement mindset
