Responsibilities

Société Générale Global Solution Center Poland is a growing area of the SG Warsaw Branch, and we are currently seeking a Trade Confirmation Officer to join our team. This role provides a challenging and rewarding opportunity for career growth.

Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Confirm transactions and their characteristics with clients or partners
  • Identify Front Office transactions requiring confirmation generation
  • Select the appropriate template for confirmations
  • Negotiate validations with counterparties and legal entities
  • Follow up on transactions and resolve discrepancies
  • Analyze received documents and ensure accuracy
  • Process all requests within deadlines
  • Draft procedures and conduct checks

Profile required

Studies & experience:

  • University degree in Banking/Finance or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience
  • Experience with FX trades is a plus

Language skills:

  • Fluency in English and French (C1/C2 - spoken and written)

Technical, operational & Soft skills:

  • Knowledge of capital market principles
  • Proficiency with confirmation standards and SWIFT messages
  • MS Office proficiency
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective organization and ability to work under pressure
  • Team collaboration
