We are presently in search of a Cybersecurity Specialist to become part of our Information Security and Internal IT crew. The team's primary objective is to establish the most effective approach to safeguarding the IT infrastructure and web application environment. As a member of the InfoSec unit, your responsibilities will encompass threat modeling, design assessments, web application penetration testing to pinpoint vulnerabilities and security flaws, while also delivering Information Security advice and suggestions, ensuring the enforcement of approved security standards. You have the option to work remotely from any location in Poland or to join our Kraków office.

What you'll be responsible for:

  • Integrating security-by-design test practices into the Software Development Lifecycle, networks, and data centers
  • Evaluating existing system security protocols, proposing and implementing upgrades, and if necessary, executing immediate measures and post-incident evaluations
  • Identifying and remedying vulnerabilities and risks in infrastructure and software
  • Conducting assessments in line with OWASP Top 10 - conducting routine system evaluations and assuring consistent monitoring of our ATS security
  • Ongoing surveillance for threats and unauthorized access, as well as overseeing incident responses and vulnerability assessments
  • Conducting security breach simulations
  • Collaborating with IDM Specialists and Security Architects to ensure appropriate security levels

Required Qualifications:

  • Graduate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience
  • Comprehensive understanding of security technologies, threats, vulnerabilities, and penetration testing
  • Extensive background in Information Security and/or IT Risk Management focusing on security, performance, and dependability
  • Solid grasp of security protocols, cryptography, authentication, authorization, and security mechanisms
  • Solid familiarity with current IT risks and experience in implementing security solutions
  • Ability to engage with a diverse range of personnel to explain and enforce security measures
  • Exceptional written and oral communication abilities
  • Nice to have: CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), Security+, Network+, The Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Licensed Penetration Tester (LPT) certifications
  • Nice to have: Experience with cloud-based environments and applications
