Senior Global Indirect Tax Consultant Miejsce pracy: Warszawa Your responsibilities As Senior Global Indirect Tax Consultant you will hold a project-centric position requiring a proactive and hands-on approach, serving as the essential liaison between business stakeholders and the IT department.

You will be a key player and engage actively in agile cross-functional collaborations between the business and IT functions, gathering and translating Indirect Tax requirements, and ensuring the precision of implemented solutions.

You will provide Indirect Tax support for various initiatives, conduct Indirect Tax research, and analyze financial data, troubleshoot and resolve data quality issues and work closely to other countries' Finance teams.

You will drive continuous improvements in different processes, actively participate in the implementation of a global VAT governance tool and support cross-functional teams addressing global VAT digitalization requirements.

Support the Global Head of Indirect Tax in ensuring the proper setup in SAP and the implementation of Indirect Tax law changes in SAP and Triumph's ways of working
Manage projects related to indirect tax processes, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of results (e.g., e-invoicing implementation)
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement changes in tax processes, systems, or compliance requirements
Identify opportunities for streamlining and improving indirect tax processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy
Serve as a liaison between the tax department and various business units, fostering effective communication and understanding of tax-related needs
Collaborate with IT teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Maintain comprehensive documentation of indirect tax processes and procedures
Work closely with IT teams to implement and enhance tax technology solutions for automation and efficiency
Co-lead the implementation of an external VAT compliance tool
Interest in staying abreast of developments in EPR (Extended Producer Responsibilities) and plastics packaging tax compliance regulations is essential for navigating the evolving tax landscape

Our requirements We're looking for someone with a solid finance and accounting background, specializing in Indirect tax and VAT in an international setting.

You should be tech-savvy, familiar with digital tools and SAP, and able to apply Indirect Tax legislation knowledge effectively.

Your ability to analyze Indirect Tax laws, work with both business and tech teams, and use technology to meet business goals is key.

You're a problem-solver who can handle responsibilities and manage projects efficiently, even in fast-paced situations.

With your hands-on, detail-focused approach, you're ready to initiate changes, collaborate well with others, and contribute positively to our team's goals.

A university degree in Tax, Finance, Accounting, Business, IT, Economics, or equivalent
At least 4 years of progressive work experience within the area of Finance and Accounting with subject matter expertise in the field of Indirect tax/VAT, VAT fillings, VAT compliance reporting and VAT solutions in SAP ERP
ERP SAP experience is mandatory
Any experience with Indirect tax is from countries outside of the European region is an advantage.
Experience with VAT automation and compliance, familiarity with tax engine and tax compliance tools is an advantage
Fluent communication skills in English (both oral and written) is required
Excellent knowledge of MS office, desired knowledge of Alteryx and Power BI
Effective listening and communication skills, highly developed interpersonal skills
Proactive and hands-on attitude, goal oriented
Structured working style with an eye for detail and hidden risks
Team-oriented and process-driven
