Description:

We are seeking a Service Desk Engineer to become part of our team in Wrocław.

Acknowledge that you will encounter challenging infrastructure tasks and invest hours navigating through technical manuals and specifications to resolve them. You will face demanding internal clients repeating the same inquiries. It may happen that you will commence each conversation with "have you created a ticket" or "have you tried turning it off and on again"? We can't hide it, that's the reality.

Nevertheless, we assure you that you will have a vital role in the most crucial aspect of our job - delivering the best software to our clients worldwide. Additionally, you will have the chance to learn from top IT engineers and exchange knowledge with 32,000 GlobalLogic specialists.

Ultimately, you will collaborate with a team of 11 exceptional IT experts - brimming with humor and openness, always eager to play a prank on you at any possible opportunity.

Requirements:

  • Minimum one year of experience in a similar role
  • Fundamental network troubleshooting abilities
  • Executing basic operations in ActiveDirectory (users, groups, and computers), DHCP (leases & reservations), DNS (nslookup, entries modification)
  • Basic mail troubleshooting skills
  • Familiarity with end user hardware/software issue resolution and troubleshooting
  • Experience with Windows 10 and 11 troubleshooting
  • Customer service experience
  • Effective communication skills to establish business relations with Management / Employees / Colleagues
  • Capability to work in a team and handle customer pressure
  • Intermediate English proficiency

Nice to have:

  • CCNA Course
  • Experience with Linux, MacOS troubleshooting
  • Experience with Windows Server services (print server, WDS etc.) troubleshooting

Job Responsibilities:

  • Offer 1st and 2nd line onsite and remote support for end users (software & hardware)
  • Provide assistance for office and meeting rooms equipment (projectors, printer etc.)
  • Manage and organize tasks in ticketing system (Jira)
  • Prepare and deploy user workplace equipment
  • Participate in internal IT Projects
