The Project:

  • As a Senior Data Engineer, you will directly report to the Head of Data & Analytics, contributing to building the complete data stack and infrastructure supporting operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and manage the essential data infrastructure for efficient extraction, transformation, and loading of data from various sources using SQL, No SQL, and big data technologies.
  • Develop and deploy data collection systems that combine multiple sources like internal company data and thirdparty data sources.
  • Establish an automated process for gathering and visualizing user engagement data from CRM/UI. Collaboration with a client from the West Coast (Pacific Time) requires availability from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. during the initial weeks.

Requirements Essential Criteria:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a full stack or data engineer focusing on data warehousing, data monitoring, and ETL pipeline construction.
  • Profound expertise in data pipeline and workflow management tools such as Airflow.
  • Strong understanding and practical experience in database design, setup, and maintenance.
  • Demonstrated capability to thrive in dynamic environments with rapid product development velocity.
  • Proficiency in Python, SQL, and effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Experience with ETL processes on Google Cloud Platform & Snowflake. Familiarity with Affinity CRM, data manipulation, and BI Tools on Tought Spot.
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in fields like Computer Science, Database Management, etc.

Nice to have:

  • Familiarity with Big Query and SIGMA, experience in venture capital data operations.
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools like Looker, Tableau, Power BI, etc., CRM platforms such as Salesforce, and automation tools like Zapier.
