Responsible for being an expert in data visualization mapping and domain data, with the task of leading visualization projects and mentoring junior roles in Visualization Developer activities.

Typical Responsibilities:

  • Lead data visualization activities and provide input into Data visualization Strategy.
  • Expert in complex mapping, design, and testing of data mapping and visualizations.
  • Collaborate with business users defining data requirements and translating business problems into visualizations.
  • Provide data understanding to visualization customers and collaborate on privacy and security.
  • Mentor junior staff, share insight in community forums, and contribute to performance development reports.
  • Personal development in data standards, visualization, and mapping techniques.
  • Contribute to the development of best practices for Data Visualization methods and technology.
  • Provide training materials and skill development in data visualization best practices.
  • Excellent knowledge of roles and skills in drug development.
  • Lead cross-functional or process improvement initiatives.

Essential Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information, Mathematical, Statistical, Computer, Life Science, or equivalent experience.
  • Extensive SAS programming expertise and experience with visualization tools.
  • Proven experience in process management and data visualization.
  • Understanding of data requirements, data quality, business processes, and translating requirements into visualizations.
  • Experience in working in multi-skilled, multi-location data teams.
  • Knowledge of risks and standards for data, communication skills, and consultancy skills.
  • Awareness of end-to-end processes in data solutions and risk-based data management.

Desirable Skills:

  • Post-graduate degree in MIS, Data Management.
  • Experience in leading the work of others and understanding of programming languages.
