We are a market leader in providing software solutions for trading in short-term power markets with solutions for algorithmic trading in the continuous intraday, auction markets and balancing markets.

We are now looking for a Product Owner Short-Term Power Trading for the Energy Software team.

As our new Product Owner, Short-Term Power Trading, you will be working with a highly result oriented and dedicated team to develop software solutions for the short-term physical power markets. You will work across solutions in the Volue portfolio to enable trading of flexibilities and renewables in the short-term power markets. To achieve this, you will be responsible as Product Owner for one or more software products managing and structuring the position from trades and power plants for trade execution in the power markets. You will be an active contributor to our product strategy shaping our products to enable our users to maximise their P&L across the physical power markets.

What you will be doing to make a difference:

  • Responsible for the success of one or more software products in the area of short-term power trading enabling trading of flexibilities and renewables in the short-term power market – with a particular focus on algorithmic trading in the continuous intraday market
  • Work closely with different teams to enable several solutions to work great together to cover a broader part of the customer value chain – from power plant planning to trading strategies and trade execution
  • Shape product within scope, budget and overall product strategy
  • Work closely together with development team, and participate as Product Owner in agile organised software teams, thereby create and maintain product roadmaps and release plans and prioritise backlog
  • Work with existing and potential users to shape successful products
  • Provide product trainings and demos internally and externally

What you need to succeed:

  • A degree in a relevant field of study (e.g., business, economics, engineering)
  • 3+ years experience related to trading and power markets
  • Experience with agile software development processes
  • Good understanding of technology and software development
  • Fluency in English language
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Team-motivator with ability to cooperate with a wide range of persons and teams from different functions and discipline
