Global Credit Business Process Owner

Role Overview:

The Global Credit Professional for Business Process Systems will oversee the performance, enhancement, and maintenance of business process systems, specifically in collections, credit, and cash application processes. This role also involves optimizing reporting and collaborating with Sales and Distribution BPOs to enhance order and invoice processing, preventing order blocks and unresolved invoices. The position requires proactive problem ownership, organization, and ensuring tools are efficient and SOX compliant. This is an individual contributor role without direct reports.

Role Responsibilities:

As a Global Credit Business Process Owner, you will be responsible for:

  • Develop, plan, and execute project ideas and process improvements based on data analysis and credit requirements.
  • Lead Accounts Receivables project teams and administer procedures and Master Data process improvements.
  • Assist the team in leveraging provided tools and fully utilizing reporting tools to increase accuracy.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert and liaison between the Commercial Team, Supply Chain, Customer Service, continuous improvement teams, and IT.
  • Identify gaps and duplicate efforts, facilitate training on new processes and functionality.
  • Ensure changes align with overall business objectives, minimize risk, and meet priorities in a timely manner.
  • Work with management to develop, update, and document all procedures and processes.
  • Streamline credit processes globally.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical failures including errors, make enhancements and improvements related to SAP and other system issues.
  • Ensure questions and technical problems are answered accurately and efficiently.
  • Facilitate and lead system SOX and internal audit compliance efforts.

We are looking for experienced candidates with great attention to detail and the ability to provide the best support to internal and external stakeholders.

What we are looking for:

  • Master's Degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in business process systems, credit, collections, OtC.
  • Expertise in SAP.
  • Proficiency in Excel and Power BI is required.
  • Fluency in English is required. Any additional language is a plus.
  • Knowledge of SOX compliance and internal audit controls.
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and liaison skills to work effectively with various teams.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Project management skills.
  • Skilled in system troubleshooting and technical issue resolution.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
