Inviting applications for the role of Supply Network Planner – Assistant Manager – English – Hybrid Katowice

Actively balance supply to demand for the full horizon through the creation of the consensus supply plan with the objective to meet demand on-time and in full. Provide a feasible supply plan across the tactical horizon deciding on priorities, parameters and allocations to meet the plan and manage planning exceptions for all material types on network level.
Responsibilities

• Own and manage the tactical planning process including supply network optimization (priorities, allocations, policies)

• Utilize scenario planning across the tactical horizon to determine sensitivities, risks and optimization opportunities

• Support innovation and demand risks and opportunity qualification in the GPS cycle through scenario planning

• Own E2E planning process across the full horizon and for all material types and responsible for rough-cut capacity planning

• View all levels of the BOM for demand/inventory and supply elements

• Create the supply plan for the central supply chain preempting issues and deciding on trade-offs in advance

• Employ good business judgement in the creation of the supply plan and management of trade-offs

• Own balancing and discussions with stakeholders in the tactical horizons for the entire supply chain network

• Review network parameter and constraints as well as updated segmentation and inventory policies by inventory planner

• Review material and capacity constraints and resolve high level capacity constraints

• Resolve potential capacity issues in collaboration with factories and schedulers

• Define and evaluate supply scenarios and collaborates with stakeholder to identify best-fit scenario

• Prepare supply scenarios for GPS meetings

• Adjust and publish monthly tactical supply plan

Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum Qualifications / Skills

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain management, applied math or other relevant degree

• Strong understand of at least advanced planning systems and its functionality, e.g. Kinaxis, o9 Solutions

• Knowledge of ERP functionality, experience with SAP / Oracle / JDE an asset.

• Demonstrated experience in supply planning (MRP, Inventory & Business waste management)

• Strong analytical skills

• Exceptional drive, excellent interpersonal skills and effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing, with the ability to immediately contribute in a collaborative team environment
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills


• An ability to manage multiple priorities and perform well in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining a high level of client focus

• Strong work ethic and high attention to detail, with a desire to learn
