  • EMEA

Role Purpose

The main objective of this role is to ensure timely and efficient performance of GL-related responsibilities, in accordance with corporate policies and key performance indicators, accurately reflected in the ledgers, and collaborate with the Local Country Team.

What this position involves:

  • Prepare monthly general ledger account reconciliations as designated
  • Post journal entries, such as accruals, prepaid expenses, bank journals, cost reclassifications, etc.
  • Conduct bank reconciliations
  • Analyze Balance Sheet and P&L for posting errors, proper accruals, and adherence to accounting regulations
  • Handle fixed asset related operations including activations, disposals, monthly amortization, and prepare fixed asset monthly reconciliation
  • Generate Month End Close Reports
  • Input data into the JLL corporate reporting systems
  • Act as the primary contact and provide support for any finance-related inquiries
  • Collaborate with other departments (AP, AR, C2B, T&E, IC)
  • Follow corporate policies, procedures, and statutory/SOX requirements
  • Assist in the annual audit process
  • Offer assistance to country finance teams in special projects

Sound like you? To be eligible:

  • Fluency in spoken & written English and Polish is mandatory, knowledge of German is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Prior experience in general ledger accounting is preferred, with a solid understanding of accounting principles (US GAAP preferred)
  • Proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, vlookup, etc.)
  • Ability to work with high accuracy and consistency
  • Capable of independent and collaborative work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical and problems-solving skills
  • Outcome-oriented operational skills focused on customer needs
  • Familiarity with PeopleSoft or other ERP systems is advantageous
