Sector overview

The JLL Business Service (JBS) is a well-established accounting and finance center owned and operated by JLL to assist all JLL EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) operations. It serves as the financial and accounting hub for European accounting processes, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Contract to Billing, JBS finance, IFM, and Asset Management.

Role Purpose

The appointed individual will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate processing of received invoices from various European countries, ensuring they are correctly recorded in the ledgers, in compliance with corporate policy, statutory regulations, and SOX requirements.

What this job involves:

  • Processing vendor invoices promptly and efficiently
  • Managing vendor payments
  • Ensuring bank reconciliation for outgoing payments
  • Confirming/reconciling vendor statements
  • Managing vendor contacts
  • Engaging with suppliers via phone/email
  • Delivering exceptional customer service to internal clients
  • Assisting in the reconciliation of AP controlled accounts and resolution of identified discrepancies
  • Resolving AP issues in accordance with Service Level Agreements
  • Collaborating daily with team members and other departments in Poland and India

  • Be fluent in spoken & written English and Polish
  • Possess knowledge of another European language (a strong advantage)
  • Have experience in accounting
  • Demonstrate experience in a shared service center or a large financial organization (preferred)
  • Hold a good understanding of accounts payable accounting practices
  • Possess analytical skills
  • Have a good command of Ms Excel
  • Be capable of working within tight operational deadlines while managing multiple tasks and priorities
  • Be familiar with PeopleSoft or another ERP package (an added advantage)
