We are seeking an experienced and seasoned Product Owner to join our dynamic team and take the lead in an exciting app development project. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in agile software development methodologies and possess excellent communication and leadership skills to drive the project to success.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including clients, development teams, and designers, to define product vision, strategy, and goals.
  • Create and maintain a prioritized product backlog, ensuring that it is constantly refined and aligned with the project's objectives.
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, translating business requirements into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and actionable tasks.
  • Act as the bridge between the development team and stakeholders, ensuring a clear understanding of requirements and project progress.
  • Work closely with the development team during sprint planning, backlog grooming, and sprint reviews to guide the development process.
  • Conduct regular meetings with stakeholders to gather feedback, address concerns, and provide project updates.
  • Monitor and analyze app performance, user feedback, and market trends to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.
  • Make data-driven decisions to prioritize features and enhancements that will maximize the app's value and user satisfaction.
  • Ensure the app's compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
  • Provide timely and accurate reports on project status, metrics, and key performance indicators to management and stakeholders.
  • Continuously seek ways to optimize the development process, fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, market trends, and best practices in app development and agile methodologies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. A relevant Master's (MBA preferred) degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role, with a track record of successfully delivering mobile app projects.
  • Strong understanding of agile software development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) and tools (Jira, Trello, TFS, DevOps, etc.).
  • Ability to translate business requirements into clear and actionable user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Familiarity with mobile app development processes, UI/UX design principles, and app store guidelines.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to influence and motivate teams to achieve project goals.
  • A proactive and results-driven attitude with a commitment to delivering high-quality products on time.
