You will be joining an organisation that has treated over500,000 patients to date and is opening a new shared service in Poland to support our global operations.

We're seeking a LeadAccountant to join our expanding team, dedicated to overseeing accounting procedures across Poland, Germany and Switzerland. Reporting to our Head of Accounting, you will also play an important role in helping to shape and set up our accounting function in Poland.This role is hybrid, based in Warsaw with an expectation to be in the office 4 times a month.

The Role

  • Manage and coordinate accounting activities in our existing markets, ensuring compliance with local regulations and company policies.
  • Support withthe setup and integration of our accounting function in Poland, including implementing systems, processes, and controls.
  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for all regions.
  • Ensure all accounting activities comply with local, national, and international regulations and support external audits as needed.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop junior accountants, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy in our accounting functions.
  • Assist in preparing budgets and financial forecasts, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including finance, operations, and executive teams, to support strategic decision-making.


About You

  • Experience as a Senior Accountant with relevant professional qualifications.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems. Advanced knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP in Poland and other relevant countries.
  • Experience in coaching and mentoring, with the ability to inspire, lead and drive continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication skills in Polish and English. German proficiency is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
