Job Purpose
Join us as a Procurement Manager and lead the Controls & Automation Sensing and Distribution Procurement team
Manage a Procurement team and vendor base supporting Controls & Automation sub-system in compliance with TechnipFMC's regulations, strategies and objectives. Manage and lead responsible organization to execute strategies in support of the Manufacturing hub including resource development and planning within a global team Provide guidance and input to Global Sourcing Strategies based on Manufacturing hub business needs and market knowledge including local content, as applicable Define, develop and lead a best in class function and organization capable and responsible for executing the supply chain strategies ensuring flawless execution of service, product and project deliveries in compliance to policies, procedures, laws and regulations governing the procurement processes.Your experience:
Have 3 + years within a Sourcing or Procurement role Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering or equivalent Ability to motivate and lead a team of Procurement professionals Gives and takes constructive feedback well. Maintain a high professional standard and promote good team dynamics. Ability to handle dynamic work environments. Good communication skills Experience of professionally conducting commercial negotiations Courage to insist on compliance in situations where the process and/or requirements are challenged or not followed. Experienced in professionally chairing internal and external meetingsYou are meant for this job if:
Very strong business acumen, strategic mindset and strong negotiator Business English, at least B2/C1 Accuracy and attention to detail Ability to identify process weaknesses and make recommendations to processs and workflow improvements to reduce costs and/or increase quality and /or efficiency Capable of resolving commercial issues, and has excellent skills to manage Agreements of high values and complexity. Knowledge of how changes influence project execution and cost. Continuously use methods for root cause investigations and elimination. Capable of being recognized for upholding a professional and high performing procurement environment. Comply with FMC Technologies' quality philosophies and core valuesAdditional Skills:
Develop skills and knowledge in team – coach and mentor performance Build close partnership with internal customer and suppliers Plan, follow up and report on agreed performance indicators and objectives, and initiate individual and collective actions to improve where needed. Develop, improve and implement Global Sourcing and procurement processes, policies and procedures that Ability to provide input and solve issues that require an extensive knowledge related to supply chain Exhibit leadership to secure competent, performing and motivated procurement personnel that demonstrates good business practice and behaviors. Enable procurement activities to be executed in compliance with SQDC. Manage budget within approved frames. Report to management on department capacity and present mitigation actions. Recruit and balance manning according to business needs and approved strategies.
