Gain insight into the inner workings of various projects and initiatives within the engineering department. As the Project/Delivery Manager, you will have a broad view of all deliveries and serve as a key support to the Engineering Unit Lead.

Collaborate with multiple development teams, grasp the overall scope of the engineering team's tasks, and utilize standardized tracking tools like Jira to maintain efficient organization. This role involves high visibility, emphasizing the importance of effective communication with stakeholders as a core aspect of daily operations.

To excel in this position, you must possess a clear understanding of effective delivery management practices, the capability to refine and enhance delivery processes, and be ready to transition towards team leadership and budget oversight within the coming year.

Remote work is an option, but availability during EU time zone hours is required to facilitate seamless teamwork.

Responsibilities:
  • Project Management
    • Lead IT development or implementation projects independently, assign tasks to development teams, and oversee developers' progress.
    • Formulate project teams, create schedules, allocate tasks, and supervise project execution within defined budgets, methodologies, and resource parameters.
    • Adapt work procedures to address potential project delays, challenges, and risks proactively.
    • Participate in resource planning and allocation within the engineering unit.
    Coordination and Workflow Oversight
    • Coordinate and support project-related tasks, monitor deadlines and workflows to align with project objectives and quality standards.
    • Resolve obstacles, communicate with team members and clients, clarify project-related matters, and provide necessary task-related information.
    Stakeholder Engagement
    • Manage relationships among involved stakeholders.
    • Facilitate information exchange, clarify objectives and costs, and offer recommendations to stakeholders.
    Documentation and Reporting
    • Prepare and maintain project documentation.
    • Monitor, document, and report on the progress of initiatives and delivery targets.
    • Provide project status updates to clients and internal stakeholders.
    Quality and Objective Attainment
    • Ensure the attainment of project objectives within specific realms (such as technical documentation, information sharing, relationship quality, etc.).
  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree
  • Proficiency in English
  • 3+ years of experience in project management, progress tracking, and reporting
  • Familiarity with Agile development practices and tools (JIRA, Confluence)
