Associate Representative - Inside Sales at Wesco International, Inc.

As an Associate Representative - Inside Sales at Wesco International, Inc., you will engage with current clients primarily via phone and email to enhance the sales of the company's products and services, ensuring customer satisfaction and enriching their purchasing journey. Working closely with the external sales team is a vital part of the collaboration to achieve shared objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Process orders via email and calls, confirm items, forward orders for fulfillment, address item unavailability and expected delivery dates.
  • Boost sales by recommending complementary products, outlining features, and analyzing customer purchase history.
  • Assist in managing leads provided by marketing, external sales, and national accounts.
  • Prepare, issue, and track quotations to finalize orders or investigate order losses.
  • Monitor customer order status and take actions on pending items, especially those at risk of missing the promised delivery date.
  • Update backorder and customer expedite reports, ensuring transparent communication with clients.
  • Share insights on market trends, competitive pricing, and customer input with the management.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Previous exposure to sales and sales administration; progressively enhancing expertise (0-2 years).
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite and basic computer proficiency.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a knack for prospecting and promoting concepts to both existing and potential clients.
  • Proficient in addressing routine issues and working autonomously.
  • Capability to discern problems, propose solutions independently, and select suitable approaches.
  • Travel availability up to 25%.
