Collections Specialist US (late shift)

Position Summary:

As a crucial part of our finance team, you will be responsible for delivering top-notch customer service and support to our clients concerning their financial queries. This involves addressing overdue payments, investigating payment discrepancies, processing adjustment requests, and providing clients with feedback utilizing exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Your role will also entail handling a considerable volume of inbound and outbound calls.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize exceptional verbal communication and customer service skills to address customer inquiries and manage various requests related to changes in account and billing information
  • Effectively handle challenging customer issues in a fast-paced setting
  • Conduct collections of Accounts Receivable through phone or email
  • Address customer inquiries about accounts, conduct research, and reach out to customers, when needed, to update accounts
  • Maintain confidentiality while handling multiple tasks and demonstrating good judgment and problem-solving abilities
  • Provide support in other areas of the Finance department as required
  • Execute collection calls for overdue receivables

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of experience in collections/Accounts Receivable or customer service
  • Preferably hold a Bachelor's Degree
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in English
  • Organizational, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of consumer collection policies and practices is a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Experience with skip tracing and locating is advantageous
  • Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment and managing challenging customer situations
