About the Position

Join Arla's IT team to work on the commercial side of IT products, particularly focusing on eCommerce. As a Senior Solution Architect, your role will involve setting the technical direction for the global B2B eCommerce solution and collaborating closely with project and support teams.

As the new senior solution architect, your responsibilities include ensuring that solutions align with the architectural landscape and meet future customer requirements. With a continuous stream of new features being added, your role is vital in creating a sustainable technological foundation to support both current and future ambitions.

Additionally, you will play a key role in scoping features, making architectural decisions, and fostering strong relationships with commercial stakeholders.

Key responsibilities of the role:

  • Lead technical implementations for eCommerce solutions and deliver architecture designs
  • Apply best practices and conduct design/code reviews during project milestones
  • Assist in scoping epics and features with the product owner
  • Align strategic ambitions with other architects within the commercial train

Who We're Looking For

We seek an individual with strong people and stakeholder management skills, who can set directions and engage others diplomatically. Your passion for learning and expanding expertise, coupled with the ability to absorb new knowledge quickly, is essential.

Key requirements include:

  • Experience in a similar role involving successful delivery of technical components
  • Agile culture and mindset
  • Deep business knowledge of eCommerce
  • Proactive mindset for identifying business opportunities
  • Experience integrating eCommerce solutions with commercial landscapes
  • Customer experience mindset
  • Strong leadership and influencing skills

Preferred qualifications:

  • Expertise in technologies like Optimizely Commerce & CMS, Azure, etc.
  • Experience with B2C eCommerce solutions in a manufacturer context
  • Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) experience
