About the Position

Joining our IT team, you will work on the business aspects of our IT products, an area receiving increased attention and activity. As a Senior Solution Architect specialized in eCommerce, you will define the technical direction for our global B2B eCommerce solution, collaborating closely with project and support teams.

As the new senior solution architect, your primary responsibility is to ensure that our solutions and features align with the architectural landscape and meet our customers' future needs. With continuous additions to our work backlog, the team requires a visionary professional capable of taking a holistic view and establishing a sustainable technological foundation for our current and upcoming aspirations.

You will support the product owner in defining features and ensuring that the right architectural decisions are made before these are added to the backlog. This will involve regular interaction with our business unit, emphasizing the need to build robust relationships and effectively manage stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the implementation of key technical components for eCommerce solutions and oversee architecture designs and solution strategies.
  • Apply best practices for implementation and conduct design/code reviews at significant project milestones.
  • Assist in scoping epics and features in collaboration with the product owner.
  • Align strategic goals with other architects both internally and externally.

Key Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a similar role contributing to the successful delivery of technical components.
  • Familiarity with agile principles and practices.
  • Deep understanding of eCommerce products and processes to drive solution architecture.
  • Proactive approach to spotting business opportunities within your technical domain.
  • Expertise in integrating eCommerce solutions within the broader commercial landscape.
  • Focus on customer experience - Your designs prioritize customer perspectives and needs.
  • Strong leadership and influencing skills, along with a track record of driving project and program success through partnerships.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Thorough knowledge of technologies such as Optimizely Commerce & CMS, Azure, etc.
  • Experience in B2C eCommerce solutions within a manufacturing context.
  • Background in FMCG industry.
