The Regional Orthopaedic Sets & Systems Senior Planner is responsible for driving operational and financial improvement across the Ortho Loan & Consignment fleets.

The primary role of the job is to lead the system forecast-to-deployment process, including system completion and deployment planning and execution within the region.

Supports and works collaboratively with the countries' supply chain, global marketing teams and various internal stakeholders.

What will you be doing?

  • Lead the governance of system deployment activities across the region to achieve visibility and enable the transparency needed to support supply, allocation, and prioritization.
  • Collaborate with local and regional fleet teams to develop ideas, policies, and processes aimed at improving system deployment and minimizing undeployed inventory.
  • Drive the allocation process in line with agreements established with the Global set team, local fleet teams, and marketing teams.
  • Act as the main point of contact for set deliveries and allocation strategy within the region. Provide updates to key stakeholders in S&OE on set deliveries, system deployment, and undeployed inventory. Raise risks and suggest actions to address them in due time.
  • Participate in the strategic business planning process for the region, partnering with key stakeholders at global, regional, and local levels to create an integrated short- and long-term fleet deployment plan.
  • Monitor the set forecast and ensure it adheres to expectations. Execute the set forecast change process as needed and agreed with global stakeholders. Support set forecast management and handle ad-hoc requests.
  • Collaborate with Regional Marketing to understand portfolio development strategy and facilitate resulting fleet needs and requirements for the region.
  • Promote solutions aimed at optimizing business activities such as inventory re-deployment, re-balancing, and asset utilization.
  • Support colleagues and adopt a collaborative approach to assist those in need of help and guidance.

What will you need to be successful?

Technical:

  • Very good skills of Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
  • Good understanding of different systems including SAP and Rapid Response
  • Expertise with any BI Reporting Tools (e.g. Alteryx, Cognos, Power BI)

  • Fluent in business English (written and spoken)
  • Able to anticipate and identify business needs that can drive value
  • Able to define problems first, and then look for solutions
  • Fact-based and result driven
  • Able to work effectively with multiple stakeholders
