The General Ledger Manager plays an important role within the ROCKWOOL Global Business Service Center (RGBS) organization, directly reporting to Head of ROCKWOOL GBS. You will be part of RGBS Finance management team of highly skilled managers and experts. Our General Ledger department, consists of three teams, providing General Ledger services for ROCKWOOL Group in Europe and North America.
What you will be doing:
As a General Ledger Manager, you will plan, manage, and deliver General Ledger business processes. You'll ensure operations are efficient, well-controlled, and meet agreed targets. You will design and implement GL service-related projects for process improvements in collaboration with the Systems & Process department. Leading a motivated General Ledger team, you will focus on training and development to ensure consistent knowledge levels across the team.
More specifically, you will:
Monitor, review and refine performance monitoring & reporting, including SLA and KPI metrics, on a regular basis and take appropriate actions, Ensure compliance to the process and manage governance accordingly, Drive standardization and optimal service placement across business units & regions in close collaboration with local Finance organizations and the Systems & Standards department, Drive efficiency and improving of data quality, initiate and review cost/benefit analysis of activities to enhance process performance , Identify and execute continuous improvement best practices, cost reductions, and business opportunities in cooperation with the Systems & Standards department, Review, monitor and update General Ledger services related policies, procedures, manuals, flowcharts and projects, Provide support for group projects completion, Maintain and establish excellent internal and external working relationships with auditors, Finance and business partners, ensuring excellent support. Act as key contact to all external groups impacted by the process, Support internal and external audit requests, Support the stakeholder governance model including quarterly performance reviews for internal customers, Set standards and managing talent development, including appraisals, staff succession planning, workforce capabilities, Manage, motivate and lead the General Ledger department in the execution of their day-to-day activities and objectives, Be accountable for budgeting staff and resource expenses, Participate in RGSB Finance Strategy design and deployment.What you bring:
Minimum 7 years of leadership experience, Prior working experience in a similar role is a must, Ability to effectively manage, delegate, and execute multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, Advanced knowledge of General Ledger processes, Analytical mindset focused on continuous improvement, Strong affinity with automation and standardization, Proactive approach to anticipating and taking initiative, Team-oriented managerial style with a focus on people, Business-minded mindset and collaboration with key stakeholders, Fluency in English, Willingness for occasional business travel.What we offer:

ROCKWOOL Global Business Service Center located in Poznań opened in 2016 with 27 employees. Today we are more than 450 employees and still expanding. Apart from the central services we provide within Finance and Controlling, we have built strong competence centres in areas such as IT, Engineering, R&D, Sourcing and Procurement and Digital Marketing.
