At the core of our game development adventure, we are looking for a skilled and adaptable 2D Generalist (Game Artist) who is enthusiastic about creating visually appealing and user-friendly experiences. You will collaborate closely with our tech experts and business strategists to ensure that your art not only looks great but also aligns perfectly with the game mechanics and our market objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Producing 2D art, encompassing character design, environment art, UI/UX design, and promotional materials for games.
  • Creating art for cross-platform games (PC, Mobile) while understanding the unique technical and artistic demands of each platform.
  • Possessing a keen interest in competitive, skill-driven multiplayer games and staying updated on the latest game design trends and user experiences.
  • Being a cooperative team member who welcomes feedback and is eager to collaborate towards common goals.
  • Demonstrating creativity and innovation by conceptualizing and executing a cohesive visual style that complements the mechanics and stories of our games.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience.
  • At least 2 games/products released.
  • Ability to swiftly iterate conceptual designs visually.
  • Flexibility to adapt to varying art styles to meet project expectations.
  • Proficiency in both spoken and written Polish (our primary language) and a good command of English.
  • Experience in closely collaborating with Game Design and Development teams to ensure seamless visual translation and asset implementation.
  • Proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar software for concept art creation and 2D asset production.
  • Strong team player mindset with decisions that benefit the team.
  • Self-driven with a strong work ethic and problem-solving initiative.
  • Familiarity with Unity platform constraints and specifications.
  • Capable of autonomously integrating assets, UI elements, and VFX in Unity with minimal developer assistance.
  • Knowledge of UI/UX for PC and mobile platforms as well as 2D animation.
Desirable Skills:
  • Familiarity with 3D asset creation (modeling, UV mapping, texturing).
  • Experience in Multiplayer Games development.
