About the Project: NAPA Auto Parts is looking for a skilled Pricing Analyst to join their Pricing team.

As a Pricing Analyst, you'll play a vital role in shaping the company's pricing strategy by using advanced analytical methods, creating BI dashboards (Power BI), and helping enhance pricing software to gain actionable insights.

Your pricing analysis expertise and market dynamics comprehension will aid in maximizing profitability and enhancing competitiveness in the automotive parts sector.

Experience with pricing software like PROS/Price FX/Vendavo and BI tools such as Power BI/Tableau/Qlik is a significant plus for this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain accurate pricing models reflecting market dynamics, cost structures, and customer behavior.
  • Create Power BI dashboards and reports to communicate pricing performance metrics to key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with BI engineers, developers, analysts, and functional leaders to design prototypes.
  • Analyze competitors' pricing strategies to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Monitor pricing initiatives' effectiveness and provide updates on pricing performance.
  • Assist in developing pricing strategies aligned with business goals and customer segments.
  • Conduct thorough pricing analysis from various data sources.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior analysts.

Requirements Expected:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or related field.
  • Advanced degree is a plus.
  • 3+ years of pricing analysis experience, preferably in automotive or industrial parts distribution.
  • Proficiency in BI tools like Tableau and Power BI.
  • Proficiency in SQL and/or Python.
  • Proficiency in Google Cloud Platform and Big Query.
  • Knowledge of pricing software like PROS or Price FX.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Understanding of pricing methodologies, market dynamics, and competitive landscapes.
  • Exceptional analytical skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
  • Self-motivated and proactive.
  • Collaborative team player.
