The Role

The role is directly accountable for identifying and supporting TA activities within the assigned scope of responsibility (cross-country or cross EVP/SVP/CVP areas). The scope of the role covers the recruitment processes for positions on all job levels and job categories and spans across all clinical roles.

The role analyses and forecasts internal and external challenges and advise hiring managers, local P&O and local management teams of considerations which may impact recruitment. The role serves as a subject matter expert in attracting and recruiting talent, translating recruiting concepts, and demonstrating the ability to flex from strategic to tactical in support of the business.

The Recruitment Partner partners closely with members of Global People & Organization (P&O), Local management teams/Business Partners/Hiring Managers, external outsourcing partners, and agencies to drive relationships resulting in the achievement of business objectives. Interacts frequently with other P&O CoEs and Global People & Organization Services (GPOS).

Key Accountabilities

Support Client Hiring Managers

  • Create and maintain trusted partner relationships with hiring managers. This includes being responsible for the end-to-end delivery of recruitment services to them, advising them on the recruitment process and ensuring that timelines are correctly identified and met
  • Identifies and supports must win battles, potential pipelines and other strategic opportunities of high complexity in own EVP/SVP/CVP/functional area/Region/Country by using all available means and bringing in new effectful interventions.
  • Acts as TA subject matter expert for the HRBP and business regarding upcoming organizational changes, headcount implications and timelines.
  • Liaise with HRBP as a trusted advisor with input to Work Force Planning (WFP) and drives the TA part of the process.
  • Together with sourcing partner provides forecasts and knowledge about industry trends/benchmarking based on LoB future plans
  • Guardian of Client employer value proposition to ensure that Client's proposition is conveyed in a compelling way across the recruitment life cycle and thereby enhance Client employer brand in the country /potentially other countries)

Recruitment Delivery

  • Lead vacancy consultation discussions in partnership with the Sourcer to agree recruitment plans with hiring managers and document outcomes of the intake meeting. Agree with hiring manager on role requirements, sourcing strategy, pay range, agreed timeframes, roles and responsibilities of all involved, and the selection process
  • Execution and delivery of end-to-end recruitment process on all levels, guiding HM through the entire process to ensure the best suitable candidate in alignment with team members and future needs.
  • Matrix management of sourcer and admin through process from RSD setting mutual expectations to hire (through strong partnership and coaching with the RPO provider)
  • Analyses and applies market insights to the recruitment plan.
  • Makes strategy plans based on WFP results and LoB ability to attract talent, operationalises and make sure the activities are carried through and evaluated.
  • Ensures consistent candidate care through the lifecycle of an applicant
  • Determine all recruitment strategies for all senior positions. Ensure minimal use of external search agencies and increase utilisation of in-house proactive search services
  • Provides insights and learnings to other TA units.
Skills & Experience
  • Must have experience in managing recruitment processes and working directly with client senior stakeholders
  • Must have strong experience in clinical research industry segments
  • Fluent in English and preferably in at least one of the following languages: Polish, Romanian, Bulgarian or Hungarian.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build long-lasting relationships with candidates, stakeholders and teammates
  • Personality to drive a change management within recruitment processes
  • Analytical mind, attention to detail and practical approach
  • Prior experience in life sciences sector is desired, but not a must
