This role is key within the People Solutions function, a dynamic team within Takeda Business Solutions.
Here, you will assist TBS in achieving our visionary goal to develop and provide simplified, innovative solutions by leveraging data value for our global business, thus empowering Takeda's steadfast dedication to patients.

As our EMEA Payroll Specialist, you will oversee the day-to-day processing of assigned payrolls within the EMEA region. Responsibilities include managing payroll changes, onboarding and offboarding, banking tasks for salary and tax payments, reconciliations at month-end, and time and attendance administration. You will ensure prompt resolution of queries and offer support for additional project work.

- Ensuring accurate and complete payroll input, covering employee lifecycle events, benefits, time and attendance, specific equity, and international assignments' transactions
- Processing payroll in compliance with local country requirements in a timely manner
- Ensuring timely execution of payroll controls as per agreed control framework
- Completing monthly/annual post-payroll activities including payroll/tax/social security payments, reporting submissions, and reconciliations with Accounting
- Managing Time and Attendance, including vacation policies, employee entitlements, and schedules
- Collaborating effectively with external providers and the global team
- Serving as the point of contact for payroll/time and attendance queries and concerns
- Maintaining process/control documentation and performance metrics
- Proposing enhancements to processes/activities
Required Qualifications
- 1 year of experience in payroll, accounting, account payable, or financial controlling
- Demonstrated knowledge and application of principles, concepts, and industry practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Business fluency in English
