About You

We are seeking independent and skilled Ecommerce Marketing Manager who is creative, analytical, and experienced in developing and executing effective marketing strategies in the e-commerce sector (B2C). You should be adept at enhancing brand presence, driving sales, and engaging customers across various digital platforms.

Your Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to attract and retain customers (in cooperation with marketing agency)
  • Oversee all marketing campaigns for our e-commerce platform, including Google Ads, Meta, and other digital advertising platforms (but mostly Google Ads)
  • Manage content strategy across all digital channels, ensuring brand consistency and appeal to our target demographic
  • Analyze market trends and consumer behavior to adjust strategies accordingly
  • Collaborate with a marketing agency to plan and execute campaigns, ensuring alignment with our goals
  • Monitor and manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize ROI
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and adjust strategies based on performance data
  • Facilitate the integration of new marketing technologies and software, including CRM and analytics tools, to enhance marketing effectiveness
  • Stay up-to-date with SEO and SEM techniques to improve content visibility and drive traffic to our website
  • Build a team of marketing professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment

Required Skills

  • At least 5 years of proven experience in marketing, with a significant focus on e-commerce
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, including PPC, SEO, email marketing, and social media strategies
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale marketing budgets and campaigns
  • Excellent analytical skills to forecast market trends and analyze campaign performance
  • Strong leadership skills and experience managing a marketing team
  • Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English
  • Ability to work in a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Tech-driven approach and a high level of understanding of marketing AI tools

Desirable Skills

  • Proficiency in German at a B2 level or higher is highly advantageous
  • Experience in marketing/sales for an ecommerce brand operating in the DACH market (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) and/or the French market

Familiarity with tools

  • Expertise in Google Analytics, SEMrush, Google Ads, and Facebook Ad Manager
  • Proficiency with CRM software and email marketing tools
