The Position

Communication Lead

We are looking for an experienced Communication Lead who act as an advisor to Roche leaders and senior team in all Roche entities present in Poland. They will lead activities and cooperate with various functions with the aim of preventing and resolving problems and crisis situations that influence the company reputation and market access of our portfolio.

The Opportunity:

EXTERNAL COMMUNICATIONS

  • Act as the primary point of contact to the media on behalf of Roche and manage strategic media relationships in collaboration with disease areas
  • Assess and develop strategies for effective engagement to raise awareness and strengthen our reputation among key external stakeholders, including but not limited to patients, the media and key influencers
  • Lead external programs and partnerships with the aim of promoting the reputation of Roche
  • Enable leaders and employees to act as ambassadors for Roche and as role models for our corporate culture
  • Monitor business environment, media landscape, and activities of most significant relevance to the business
  • Conduct business in full compliance with government regulations and industry codes as well as Roche policies and procedures.
  • Partner with a broad group of stakeholders such as payer, patient advocacy to provide expertise, information and tools that will help improve standards of care, access and health outcomes for patients
  • Participate and actively engage in industry coalitions and industry groups to understand the development of policies and regulations

EXECUTIVE COMMUNICATION

  • Use storytelling to effectively convey Roche mission, vision, and value proposition to target audiences
  • Use strategic consulting and planning skills to create comprehensive communication plans that effectively reach target audiences and support organisational goals.
  • Able to prioritise effectively and provide advice in short timeframes

INTERNAL COMMUNICATION

  • Develop internal communication strategies that inform and inspire Roche employees worldwide
  • Provide thought leadership, strategic communications counsel and coaching to colleagues across Roche
  • Develop compelling, inspirational content for internal audiences on the most relevant topics and empower teams to follow your example
  • Develop metrics and mechanisms to measure results of internal communication strategies, plans and tactics in collaboration with the communications strategy team
  • Leading a team of experts/specialists in communication

Who you are:

  • You are a self-organized, self-driven individual with passion for communication challenges.
  • You have experience writing clearly and compellingly in a variety of formats (speeches, social media; earned press; short remarks; internal speaking requirements)
  • You have worked with a variety of business leaders in different roles within large networked organization
  • You have the ability to effectively use insights to establish impactful plans
  • You have experience providing executive communications support to senior leaders and comfort with briefing and informing a wide range of internal audiences
  • You have worked with internal channels and determining which channel is best for different internal audiences based on the desired outcome
  • You have strong awareness of the external landscape and ability to advise business leaders on the operating environment
  • You bring experience devising stakeholder engagement strategies and in developing key messages and audience segmentation to achieve maximum impact.
  • A professional fluent in both Polish and English language.
