Familiarity with defense sector security requirements and a pulse on global tech trends are vital.

Key ResponsibilitiesThe Defence Sales Leader's mission is to strengthen Oracle Cloud's presence in the Defence Sector. This includes engaging with the Ministry of Defence, intelligence services, and the Defence Industry Base in the country. You will leverage the full Oracle Cloud portfolio (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) to drive digital transformation within the Defence Sector. Collaborate with multi-cloud partners to deliver an exceptional cloud experience for Defense customers nationwide. As the national Defence Sales Leader, you will lead a team focused on identifying strategic projects, presenting Oracle's value proposition, and driving cloud adoption.
In this role, you will develop and execute a national business plan, working towards booking and consumption targets. Coordinate with sales, consultants, and architects to ensure successful outcomes. Collaborate with internal Oracle teams and ecosystem partners. Manage sales opportunities from inception to closure, offering innovative solutions that benefit Oracle, customers, and partners.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Drive Oracle's cloud strategy implementation with Defence customers.
- Enhance bookings and consumption of Oracle and multi-cloud partners' offerings.
- Deepen understanding of Defence and Security landscape to identify key opportunities.
- Develop robust value propositions for Defense customers.
- Establish effective channels to market and drive customer engagement.
- Ensure fulfillment of contractual agreements and high customer satisfaction.
- Engage with customers and partners to support sales opportunities.
- Monitor sales activities and forecasts for informed decision-making.
- Manage bids and proposals to successful closure.
- Build an industry customer reference program and participate in marketing events.
- Expand Oracle's presence in the Defense Industry through leveraging Oracle's portfolio.
- Drive bookings and consumption growth.
- Introduce key accounts to Oracle solutions that address their needs.
- 10-15 years of experience in Defense, Intelligence, and Security roles.
- Track record of selling to and engaging with Defense organizations.
- Ability to establish lasting relationships with Government and Defense clients.
- Strong analytical skills and effective communication.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
- Hands-on approach to work and strong technical acumen.
- In-depth knowledge of cloud solutions and market trends.
- Proficiency in English, additional languages are a plus.
- National Security clearance.

Education
A Bachelor's degree is preferred. Advanced degree is a plus.
