About the project

We are currently on the lookout for a talented and driven Data Engineer to enrich our workforce. The perfect candidate should possess a solid grounding in SQL, advanced skills in Python, a grasp of financial and operational performance indicators, and outstanding English communication abilities. As a Data Engineer, your pivotal role will involve transforming raw data into valuable insights, streamlining data management processes to meet our business intelligence and analytical requirements.

Location: Katowice

Your responsibilities
  • Designing and managing ETL data pipelines utilizing DBT and Airflow to convert raw data from various sources into structured datasets in line with business requirements.
  • Preparing source datasets for reporting in Power BI and other analytic tools to ensure data precision and coherence.
  • Oversight of the Snowflake data warehouse including query optimization, user administration, and performance enhancement.
Our requirements
  • Advanced SQL expertise to construct intricate queries and boost database efficiency.
  • Extensive proficiency in Python for data manipulation, automation, and scripting purposes.
  • Familiarity with AWS and IAC, particularly CloudFormation.
  • Hands-on experience in building and handling data pipelines, preferably leveraging Airflow and DBT.
  • Knowledge of Snowflake data warehouse management, query enhancement, and user access regulation.
  • Exceptional communication skills in English.
Optional
  • Hands-on experience in developing pipelines for AI applications like data processing for chatbots, predictive models, and analytics.
  • Understanding of various AWS services such as S3, EC2, Lambda, SNS, SQS, EKS.
  • Sound comprehension of financial and operational metrics, processes, and KPIs.
  • Capability to translate business demands into feasible data solutions.
  • Familiarity with DBT (Data Build Tool) for data transformation and modeling.
  • Expertise in implementing data security and governance best practices.
