What's the role?

About The Position: Imagine being part of the Parking & Electric Vehicle (EV) Team, where the last part of the journey can be the most stressful. From finding a free parking spot to paying for it and ensuring it has an EV charging capability, this team focuses on making the last meters of your trip seamless.

The team at HERE Technologies combines dynamic Parking & EV data with other mapping elements to provide a comprehensive last-meter experience. By offering Digital Ticketing & Payment services, drivers can book in advance and travel with ease.

Responsibilities:
  • Drive technical work within the team.
  • Deliver high-quality code.
  • Design customer-centric APIs.
  • Troubleshoot and debug technical issues.
  • Support product maintenance and on-call duties.
  • Collaborate with Architects and SCRUM teams to ensure service reliability.
Who are you?Must-Have:
  • Strong communication skills in English.
  • Experience in backend application development using Scala.
  • Knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
  • Proficiency with GitLab, Kubernetes, Grafana, Splunk, Redis, Memcached, or Kafka.
  • Ability to write bash scripts and reports.
  • Agile software development experience within a Scrum team.
  • Quality-driven mindset with a focus on testing and code quality.
Nice-to-Have:
  • Experience in Spark or Flink.
  • Familiarity with AWS cloud technologies.
  • Java experience.
  • Geo-spatial data skills and familiarity with geo-spatial standards.
