Junior Sustainability Project Manager

In the role of Junior Sustainability Project Manager at Lyreco, you will be responsible for overseeing sustainability initiatives, providing tailored trainings for stakeholders, and ensuring sustainability is a central focus across all departments and countries.

Additionally, you will offer crucial support to Sustainability Managers & Directors and collaborate with stakeholders to establish and enforce specific sustainable goals in alignment with the Great Impact 2026 strategy.

Key performance indicators include increased adoption of sustainable practices and enhanced stakeholder engagement. This role plays a vital part in Lyreco's mission for Great Impact 2026 and contributes directly to its reputation as a socially and environmentally conscious leader in the industry.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Responsibility for maintenance and development of sustainability at Lyreco.
  • Prepare and deliver sustainability trainings for stakeholders.
  • Support Sustainability Managers & Directors in their work.
  • Ensure sustainability is on the agenda for all departments and countries within Lyreco.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to set and enforce specific sustainable goals of the Great Impact 2026 strategy.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • 1-2 years' experience in Sustainability & Circular economy activities.
  • Proficient in PR and Communication Skills (including preparing articles, presentations, stories, public speaking, and posts).
  • Knowledge of ESG topics (such as Sustainability procurement, Carbon Footprint, SDGs, Circular economy, CSRD) is advantageous.
  • 1 year of project management experience independently managing projects with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Highly collaborative and adept at working with cross-functional teams.
  • Highly organized, meticulous, autonomous, and collaborative.
  • Able to pitch and persuade different audiences (customers, employees, shareholders).
  • Willingness to share knowledge and train others.
  • Agile in learning new tools and using new platforms.
  • Background in Sustainability and passion for contributing to the development of a large organization.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
