  • The procurement manager holds the responsibility for logistics procurement business for EMEA (Europe, Middle East, & Africa) partnering with the logistics organization. This is an exciting and dynamic role reporting to the Global Head of Logistics Procurement, managing an annual spend of €45M.
  • The Procurement Manager will build market knowledge on trends, market capabilities, strategy shifts, geo-political influences to provide market insight to internal stakeholdersand support strategic decision.
  • Work closely with sustainability team and suppliers to drive key initiatives such as Responsible Sourcing and Sustainability.

YourKey Tasks

  • To develop, implement and drive the Logistics procurement strategies.
  • Ensure high level of contract management controls.Work with the Legal team to finalize commercial agreements using Lipton contractual operating framework.
  • To assess, identify and select the appropriate supplier base that would meet the needs of the business.
  • To directly lead large procurement projects.
  • To deliver cost savings based on sourcing strategies and compliance management.
  • To continuously improve ways of working and optimise procurement activities.
  • To ensure the satisfaction of Internal customers with the services provided by the procurement organization.
  • To lead the rationalization of suppliers, materials and services that meet business requirements.
  • To support the collaboration with senior functional leaders to establish both short and long-term business objectives.
  • To lead cross-functional initiatives and represent Business interests in the management of external strategic relationships.
  • To support the Sustainability Agenda in the procurement of SC Services.
  • Support various outsourcing initiatives as per Business requirements.

Skills and Experience

  • At least 3 years' experience in Logistics Procurement is a must.
  • Deep knowledge in logistics procurement, specifically in Europe is a must.
  • Bachelor's degree in sciences or business
  • Bias for action and strong executor
  • Strong in holding people accountable
  • High business acumen
  • High analytical skills
  • Change management
