Carrier Transicold enhances the transportation and shipping of temperature-controlled goods with a comprehensive range of equipment and services for refrigerated transport and cold chain visibility. With over five decades of experience, Carrier Transicold leads the industry, delivering advanced, energy-efficient, and eco-friendly container refrigeration systems, generator sets, truck units, and trailer refrigeration systems to customers worldwide. Carrier Transicold operates under Carrier Global Corporation.

About the role

We are in search of a Sales Manager with a track record in expanding and nurturing business through collaboration with sales channel partners, OEMs, and direct customers. This role demands a seasoned and dynamic business development expert with a strong background in the automotive sector, analytical capabilities, and exceptional sales acumen. The ideal candidate should be adept at functioning in a complex organizational structure, liaising with customers, sales teams, product management, and operations. The position entails extensive travel, requiring the successful candidate to be ready and able to travel up to 75% of the time. The primary focus will be engaging with potential large end-users to establish Carrier Transicold as their preferred choice. The Sales Manager will report directly to the Managing Director, collaborating with sales and service management.

RESPONSABILITIES Highlights

  • Develop and implement ambitious account growth strategies for top customers in Poland
  • Lead intricate negotiations, define value propositions and strategies to enhance the company's positioning, secure long-term contracts, and recurring revenue streams
  • Cultivate, expand, and manage direct business relationships with key end-users or national accounts
  • Serve as the main point of contact for all Strategic Account interactions and engagements
  • Support allocated customers in sales endeavors, assisting them in identifying new opportunities
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and support to sales channels in their sales endeavors
  • Conduct regular and thorough reviews of sales activities to meet the order targets
  • Achieve financial objectives in collaboration with the Sales Manager
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of customers, markets, opportunities, and competitors
  • Develop and execute sales action plans to effectively implement the company's strategies
  • Ensure sales team members build, nurture, and manage a robust sales opportunities pipeline while providing accurate forecasts of bookings, revenue, and sales initiatives
  • Aid in creating and delivering strategic sales presentations/proposals
  • Monitor sales metrics, implement enhancements to boost sales performance, and identify growth opportunities
  • Collaborate with field sales and service teams, operations, branch, and regional leadership when necessary
  • Exemplify the qualities of an 'Executive Sales Professional' to fellow sales colleagues, serving as a mentor and guide as needed
  • Actively engage in sales and service department meetings, workshops, and seminars. Stay informed about market trends and product developments. Continue to enhance product and service knowledge and acquire deeper sales, technical, and financial competencies

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 10+ years of sales management experience in the automotive or related industry, preferably in roles with increasing responsibilities
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are essential
  • Effective communication and presentation abilities
  • Adept at assessing customer requirements and identifying sales opportunities
  • Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking capabilities are necessary
  • Demonstrated analytical skills with the ability to synthesize data from various sources and present them effectively to the target audience
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, & PowerPoint)
  • Experience working with CRM systems
  • Highly organized with acute attention to detail, capable of managing multiple priorities
  • Proficiency in the English language

Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field
10+ years of varied sales experience in a technology field is preferred
