Your responsibilitiesThe appointed candidate will be responsible for managing all Line and Base Maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with all aircraft maintenance requirements, observing EASA regulations / Company procedures as well as supervising of project management, in particular:
ensuring performance of the full base maintenance, including troubleshooting in accordance with the standards referenced in 145.A.48 and any corrective actions resulting from monitoring compliance with the quality requirements (in accordance with 145.A.65);
supervising the certification process and all maintenance tasks in the field of line and base maintenance;
organizational and technical preparation to perform the ordered line and base maintenance services and supervision over their performance in accordance with EASA aviation regulations and the provisions of MOE;
cooperating with the Quality Manager and Safety Manager in organizing the system of collecting and analyzing information about the malfunctions of aviation equipment and taking actions to improve the quality of the equipment;
cooperating with the Aviation Authority in the field of continued compliance of the Maintenance Organization with applicable regulations, standards and procedures contained in the Characteristics / MOE /;
overseeing the scheduling of repairs and maintenance;
ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
Our requirementsa University Degree in a technical discipline, ideally related to aviation (mechanics, electrical engineering, electronics, avionics which are crucial for maintaining aircraft/aircraft components airworthiness);
hands-on experience and professional knowledge in the field of applying standards of aviation safety;
a minimum of 7 years' experience in maintenance of aircraft above 5700 kg, including 5 years' experience in a base aircraft maintenance (C-checks) at a management level at Part 145 organization;
minimum level 3 ATA-104 training certified by a Part-147 organization for at least one type of aircraft in the scope approved (Embraer ERJ 170/190);
fluency in English is essential, knowledge of Polish will be an additional advantage;
knowledge of aircraft operations, maintenance systems and procedures;
comprehensive knowledge of EASA regulations in relation to aircraft operations, inspection and maintenance regimes;
ability to be an effective hands-on manager - self-motivated and results oriented with a focus on safety and quality;
knowledge of EU requirements concerning management systems and their application (including safety and compliance monitoring);
knowledge of human factor rules;
knowledge of safety of fuel tanks including critical design configuration control limitations (CDCCL);
knowledge of Electrical Wiring Interconnection System (EWIS);
knowledge of the quality system and audit techniques;
excellent listening, verbal, and written communication and presentation skills;
excellent collaborative problem solving skills with an ability to envision system-wide solutions.
