Marketing Manager Azerbaijan, Georgia and Armenia

About the role

The Marketing Manager for Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Armenia holds complete accountability for fostering the growth and performance of the designated market. Azerbaijan is a powerhouse market within Export Markets, making it a pivotal growth engine for our business, backed by substantial investments and high-return expectations. In this position, you will spearhead the localization of global and regional marketing strategies to cater to local market requirements based on in-depth insights and robust consumer understanding. Your responsibilities will encompass the implementation of strategies and tactics to boost consumer engagement, enhance brand visibility, and drive sales growth. You will play a pivotal role in influencing key strategic partners, including the CEE BU Marketing teams and the CEE Export Markets Leadership Team, to gain approval and alignment on crucial initiatives. Additionally, you will assume full P&L responsibility in this role.

Moreover, you will be entrusted with leading designated projects for the entire Export Markets.

Role Responsibilities

  • Supervise and guide a team of marketing professionals, offering direction, training, and assistance in executing marketing campaigns effectively.
  • Oversee brand marketing endeavors to ensure unified messaging, visual identity, and positioning across diverse channels and touchpoints.
  • Manage media investments by collaborating with media agencies to devise media plans, optimize media expenditure, and monitor campaign performance.
  • Organize and execute promotional endeavors, such as product introductions, seasonal campaigns, and other marketing projects, to bolster consumer awareness and purchase intent.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including sales, product development, and creative services, to ensure harmonization and integration of marketing activities.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify consumer trends, market prospects, and competitive scenarios, leveraging insights to shape marketing strategies.
  • Oversee trade marketing activities, encompassing trade promotions, merchandising, and channel-specific marketing projects, to bolster sales and distribution objectives.

Basic Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience as a Marketing Manager or in a similar capacity in the FMCH or FMCG sector.
  • Robust knowledge and comprehension of brand marketing, media planning, and trade marketing.
  • Proven track record in developing and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies that drive business expansion and consumer engagement.
  • Expertise in launching new products.
  • Proficient in market research and analysis methods.
  • Proficiency in English with knowledge of Russian being an added advantage.
