As you join our global Samsung team, you'll be immersed in challenging projects collaborating with professionals worldwide.

You will delve into Samsung Advertising Galaxy, working on dynamic areas such as bidding, performance-driven advertising, and advanced analytics to optimize user engagement.

As a machine learning engineer at Samsung Ads, you'll leverage exclusive data resources to tackle complex challenges, collaborate with skilled peers, and utilize cutting-edge technologies.

Your role involves designing, constructing, and fine-tuning ML models and platforms to streamline the end-to-end ML process, aiding in the democratization of ML capabilities and accelerating ML adoption.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable low-latency machine learning products and pipelines.
  • Evaluate model performance to ensure generalizability and address bias concerns.
  • Design and construct a high-performance machine learning platform for extensive model training pipelines.
  • Explore emerging ML technologies, conduct experiments tailored to our environment, and streamline model deployment.
  • Enhance automation of the ML pipeline, ensuring code quality and reliability through CI/CD principles.
  • Collaborate with Data Scientists to introduce new ML features and enhance product functionality.
  • Collaborate with internal ML teams to improve codebase and product quality.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Degree in Computer Science or related fields.
  • Minimum of 2 years of industry experience.
  • Proficiency in CI/CD, ETL, big data tools, mainstream ML libraries, cloud solutions, and programming in Python or similar languages.
  • Experience in SQL, database management, unit testing, and software engineering principles.
  • Familiarity with data structures and algorithms.

Nice to have

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing machine learning systems.
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code, orchestration tools, CI/CD pipelines, and real-time monitoring frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience with ML frameworks and programming languages.
  • Strong background in SQL, databases, and cloud technologies.
  • Extensive familiarity with Snowflake, Snowpark, and real-time bidding systems.
  • Previous exposure to the advertising industry and recommendation systems.
