Ciklum is looking for a Lead Data Scientist to join our team full-time.

We are a custom product engineering company that supports both multinational organizations and scaling startups to solve their most complex business challenges. About the role:

As a Lead Data Scientist, you'll become a part of a development team working for our client, who is focused on data-driven solutions in the advertising industry and develops technical solution to efficiently address target groups with first-class target group segments and intelligent solutions for retargeting and new client acquisition.

Responsibilities

Lead the development of graph-based technical solutions by developing and implementing algorithms and methodologies to extract insights from complex networks and interconnected data sources Development of prototype solutions, mathematical models, algorithms, machine learning techniques, and robust analytics to support analytic insights and visualization of complex data sets Contribute to product features like offers, personalization, and recommender by analyzing complex data sets and developing algorithms to produce results that increase customer engagement Drive innovation by exploring new experimentation methods and data analytics techniques that could sharpen or speed up product decision-making processes Develop and deploy testing hypotheses and analyze test results, providing the necessary analytical rigor to ensure data quality, consistency, repeatability, and accuracy of insightsCross-trains other team members on technologies being developed, while also continuously learning new technologies from other team members Interacts with engineering teams and ensures that solutions meet customer requirements in terms of functionality, performance, availability, scalability, and reliability

Requirements

5+ years of experience as a Data Scientist/ML Engineer/Data Engineer/Big Data Developer with a proven track record of leveraging analytics to drive significant business impact2+ years contributing to production deployments of large backend data processing and analysis systems Expertise in Graph-based Learning Techniques Experience with Graphene (graphene-python) – GraphQL framework for Python Experience in Machine Learning (. regression and classification algorithms such as random forest, boosting) Deep Learning techniques Hands-on experience coding in Python with solid CS fundamentals including data structure and algorithm design High proficiency with Python libraries (Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, PyTorch) Experience in processing and analyzing big data setsHands-on implementation experience working with Spark (PySpark, Spark ML) Previous background with cloud data platform AWS (AWS Sage Maker, AWS Glue) Knowledge of software engineering best practices across the development lifecycle, including agile methodologies, coding standards, code reviews, source management, build processes, testing, and operations BSc or equivalent in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or another related field
