Within this setup, we are seeking specialists in international accounting & tax, human resources and payroll, and global entity management. Additionally, we are forming teams to manage international funds and bolster internal financial operations at TMF Group.In this role, you will have the opportunity to predominantly work remotely.Job DescriptionAs a Financial Controller, you will be an integral part of the Internal Finance team. You will take on a regional role reporting directly to the regional CFO. Your responsibilities will encompass a variety of accounting and financial duties that must be executed accurately and promptly. Your tasks will include reviewing local reports to ensure compliance with IFRS and TMF Group Accounting Policy, proposing process enhancements, testing new IT reports, and implementing necessary changes. Success in this role hinges on a strong grasp of financial and IT processes.Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the regional CFO in meeting financial deadlines
  • Review reports from local offices
  • Analyze and execute financial reports
  • Lead monthly pre-closing meetings with markets/region
  • Conduct monthly balance sheet reviews and create action plans
  • Ensure adherence to IFRS and TMF GAAP
  • Contribute to the AO/IC process
  • Participate in enhancing AO/IC principles
  • Offer insights for process improvement based on experience
  • Enhance financial systems and evaluate future releases
  • Maintain and optimize the automated financial environment
  • Provide coaching and mentoring for quality and efficiency
  • Analyze reports from other countries within the Region
  • Engage in specific projects and analyses like internal control and tax provisioning
Key Requirements:
  • Minimum of 4 years' relevant experience in auditing or international companies
  • Ability to work under time constraints for monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
  • Proactive, responsible, results-oriented mindset
  • Proficiency in IFRS
  • Fluency in English (written and verbal)
  • University degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
