Continuous Improvement Lead – GBS/R2R

Supports governance structure and communicate on improvement areas
Undertakes and supports in continuous improvement initiatives
Coordinates standardization and harmonization agenda in R2R area (together with GPO and other GBS departments)
Communicate on plan, progress and projects' status as per agreed plans
Undertake and support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
Collaborate across finance to ensure operational excellence and drive improvement initiatives Identifies opportunities regarding robotics and process automation
Ensures alignment to standard operating processes together with GPOs' team
Acts as PMO/ multiple finance and accounting projects coordinator
Supports the development of the GBS target operating model
Partners with Finance leaders in Europe and beyond, finance controllers and transactional accounting teams
Supports tower management in coordination of priorities and initiatives
Supports development and effective communication, interaction and excellent relationship with the accounting teams
Develops functional training agenda, training materials and supports training execution,
Supports onboarding program for new joiners
What makes the role even more interesting is that it may also involve some of the elements of the financial/accounting controlling field (this is only on the need basis):
Ensuring correctness, completeness, accuracy and timeliness of the monthly reporting in accordance with company policies, deadlines and internal procedures
Coordinate with various departments (both finance and non-finance, across multiple countries) to ensure financial records are accurate and completed in a timely manner
Monthly analysis and reporting. Analyzing, explaining and substantiating deviations
Preparation, coordination and finalization of annual statutory reporting and external audits
Participating and coordination, support in internal audits
Our requirements Education in Finance/ Accounting or Business Administration or similar
Strong understanding and working experience in R2R processes
Experience in statutory financial statements and audits
Experience in O2C and P2P will be a plus
Experience in tax (CIT,VAT) areas will be a plus
Proven experience in process improvement initiatives and project management.
Strong ability to coordinate multiple initiatives and projects in the same time
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to influence across the organization and work in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment
Experience in designing and documenting process flows.
Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
Previous exposure/experience to/in global or regional finance shared services a plus
