Job Summary:

In this position, you will conduct field investigations and client interviews to determine work scope and cost estimates for the electrical engineering aspects of projects. Your role involves leading the design, development, modification, and evaluation of electrical components and processes to ensure technical issues are resolved and project requirements are met.

Education and Experience Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (or international equivalent) required - 5-8 years of relevant experience

Major Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, select, and apply standard electrical engineering methods, techniques, procedures, and criteria
  • Participate in the design, development, and modification of electrical components and processes
  • Collaborate with other engineering disciplines
  • Coordinate electrical engineering efforts with various stakeholders
  • Prepare conceptual studies, designs, reports, or proposals
  • Provide technical assistance to other electrical personnel
  • Assist in identifying and complying with project electrical requirements

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Professional Engineering License (Electrical) required
  • Prior experience in a Nuclear, Quality, and Safety Environment
  • Experience in nuclear plant design
  • Knowledge of industry and regulatory guides, codes, and standards
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant computer programs
  • Extensive knowledge of electrical systems and equipment
  • Strong understanding of engineering drawings, systems calculations, and equipment sizing
  • Hands-on experience with electrical system design tools
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
