- Conduct security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and potential risks within the cloud infrastructure.
- Develop security policies and procedures that align with industry standards and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Implement security controls to protect the cloud environment from cyber threats, such as firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and encryption.
- Manage security incidents by investigating and resolving security breaches, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing preventive measures.
- Provide security training to employees and stakeholders to ensure they are aware of security best practices and understand their role in protecting the cloud environment.
- Stay up to date with the latest security trends, threats, and vulnerabilities and provide recommendations for improving the security posture of the cloud environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
- In-depth knowledge of cloud security technologies and methodologies. Experience with Azure is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Relevant certifications such as Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) are nice to have.
