The Expense Fund Accountant plays a crucial role in delivering top-notch services to our clients. This role involves handling fund expenses by calculating, accounting, and managing expenditures, analyzing information, addressing any discrepancies, and providing accurate results to the accounting team efficiently.

Your responsibilities will include:

TECHNICAL SKILLS

  • Performing calculations and processing fees, expenses, and rebates accurately and on time
  • Evaluating the daily expenses' impact on fund value
  • Implementing changes in fund expense budgets based on instructions
  • Collaborating with various departments to resolve discrepancies
  • Documenting activities and ensuring timely delivery of results

OTHER

  • Addressing issues identified by senior staff and managers
  • Providing timely responses to inquiries
  • Building good relationships with colleagues and clients
  • Participating in training and skill development
  • Being proactive in process improvements
  • Maintaining a clean workspace and organizing documents

What we look for:

  • Analytical and numerical skills
  • Strong computer skills, especially in spreadsheets and text editing
  • Fluency in English
  • Problem-solving abilities
  • Capability to work independently under pressure
  • Knowledge of accounting principles is a plus

Education & Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in Accountancy or Business (preferred)
  • Experience in accounting for investment funds is advantageous
