About the ProjectWe are seeking a Senior Java Backend Developer with strong architecture skills, who will also play a key role in collaborating with business stakeholders and supporting the due diligence process for a strategic platform transformation.The goal is to replace a complex and incomplete legacy system with a modern, clean REST API layer that integrates with Palantir Foundry.Beyond implementation, you will actively contribute to architectural decisions, validate design assumptions with business stakeholders, and ensure that the system meets both functional and strategic objectives.This is an opportunity to co-shape the architecture and business alignment before the first production release, and to take part in a long-term modernization effort.ResponsibilitiesAct as a senior engineer and architectural partner, helping shape the system design and technical roadmapParticipate in due diligence activities, validating requirements and aligning technical solutions with business needsDesign and build REST APIs in Java that act as a bridge between an orchestration application and Palantir FoundryCollaborate with platform engineers, architects, and business stakeholders to define scalable data access and integration patternsWork with SDKs (not just REST APIs) to interact with Palantir's backendEnsure clean code practices and architecture-first design from the startRequirements7+ years of experience in Java backend developmentProven experience in system and API architecture designExperience in working closely with business teams Familiarity with domain-driven design Experience working with SDKs or platform-specific APIsTechnical education (engineering degree or equivalent in IT, computer science, or related field)Nice to HaveKnowledge of Palantir FoundryBackground in data modeling – logical and physicalUnderstanding of TMF (TeleManagement Forum) specificationsExperience with platform-based development environments (e.g., Salesforce, Mendix, OutSystems)Familiarity with API security (OAuth 2.0, tokens)Why Join This Project?High-impact senior role with strong influence on architecture and business alignmentInvolvement in due diligence and early design decisions before v1 goes liveLong-term potentialNo legacy maintenance – focus on clean code, scalability, and clarityExposure to Palantir Foundry – one of the most in-demand enterprise data platforms
