Location / work model:

  • Łódź (hybrid work model - 2 days/week/office)


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform proactive performance detection and deep dives on escalated CIF/critical databases

  • Recommend and implement necessary changes to optimize flagged databases

  • Improve performance detection mechanisms using Oracle analyser tools, performance indexes, OEM, Service Degradation Monitoring, etc

  • Support root cause analysis (RCA) processes and validate findings

  • Provide technical support during handovers from Engineering to Operations

  • Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures, patching, upgrading, and hardening requirements


Expectations:

  • 5+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA for a large enterprise customer

  • Proven track record in performance tuning, troubleshooting, and incident resolution

  • Strong SQL development and tuning skills (DML/DDL)

  • Familiarity with locking, latching, contention, and rollback handling

  • Experience with query plan analysis tools, database monitoring, and capacity planning

  • Skilled in IT operations planning, compliance, and security standards

  • Advanced English
