Position Overview:

For one of our partners, we are seeking a Power BI Developer who will be responsible for Power BI Development and Report Building. The ideal candidate will possess the necessary skills and experience to contribute to the success of our partner organization.

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Power BI Developer to support the migration of reports from SAP Business Objects to Power BI. You will work on multiple reporting projects across departments like Sales, Marketing, Finance, Accounting, Security, and Warehouse. The role focuses on building both visual and paginated reports using Power BI Desktop and Power BI Report Builder.

Key Responsibilities

· Build and maintain reports in Power BI Desktop and Power BI Report Builder.

· Create paginated reports (Report Builder) and interactive dashboards (Power BI Desktop).

· Work closely with business teams to understand reporting needs and priorities.

· Test and validate reports to ensure accuracy and performance.

· Use DAX for calculated columns, measures, and KPIs.

· Ensure data consistency and integrity across reports.

· Document report logic, data sources, and business rules.

· Support end-users with report usage and interpretation.


Required Skills & Experience

· 5–10 years of experience in Power BI development.

· Strong skills in Power BI Report Builder (critical for paginated reports).

· Experience with Power BI Desktop, DAX Studio, and Power Query.

· Good knowledge of SQL for data extraction and manipulation.

· Familiarity with ALM Toolkit for model versioning and deployment.

· Experience with Tabular Editor or Visual Studio (nice to have).

· Ability to work independently and in a team, with good communication skills.
