Data Scientist / AI Scientist


As a Data Scientist / AI Scientist, you will be working for our client, a global leader in the financial services industry, driving innovation in advanced analytics and AI solutions. You will analyze large datasets, design predictive models, and conduct research experiments to support data-driven decision-making across key business areas. This role combines statistical expertise with modern AI approaches to deliver actionable insights, optimize financial processes, and enhance customer experience. You will be part of an international team applying cutting-edge methods in a highly regulated environment.


Your main responsibilities:

  • Analyze large and complex datasets to identify patterns and actionable insights

  • Design, develop, and validate predictive and prescriptive models

  • Conduct research experiments combining statistical methods with AI algorithms

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into data-driven solutions

  • Implement machine learning models in production environments

  • Monitor and improve the performance of deployed models over time

  • Document methodologies, results, and recommendations in a clear and structured way

  • Work with cross-functional teams including analysts, engineers, and business managers

  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and data privacy requirements

  • Stay updated with emerging AI and data science techniques and apply them in practice


You’re ideal for this role if you have:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience as a Data Scientist, AI Scientist, or similar role

  • Proven ability to work with large datasets in financial or banking environments

  • Strong programming skills in Python and libraries such as Pandas, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch

  • Solid understanding of statistics, probability, and mathematical modeling

  • Hands-on experience in building and deploying machine learning models

  • Knowledge of SQL and experience with relational databases

  • Familiarity with big data tools and platforms (e.g., Spark, Hadoop, or cloud equivalents)

  • Ability to design experiments and apply advanced analytical techniques

  • Excellent communication skills to present insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken
