WHAT TASKS AWAIT YOU?
As part of Deutsche Telekom’s International E2E IoT Integration & Validation team you will be responsible for
- API testing and development and running test automation scripts covering testing of 3rd Party developed software for business support.
- Performing self-organized acceptance testing of the software, especially focused on non-functional aspects, requires a good understanding of validation requirements and test methodologies necessary to adjust the approach of testing to current needs.
- The main focus on achieving optimal testing efficiency in an automated manner by applying best practice test methodologies
- Detail root cause analysis of faults found during testing and give technical assessment on their severity, along with customer impact statements. Good levels of problem solving skills and technical competency are required;
- Works in a SCRUM team supporting the other team members with personal know-how and technical expertise, providing well established communication to meet internal business & customer demands.
WHAT SKILLS WILL BE APPRECIATED?
Mandatory requirements:
- At least 4-5 years’ experience in software testing
- Work experience in agile QA or Test Management
- Understanding of testing Framework and Tools – Cypress, Cucumber
- Experience in test automation in JavaScript
- Experience in API testing and maintaining API requests
- Knowledge about E2E Integration test
- Understanding of program languages: JavaScript, Python (optional), SQL
- Knowledge of frameworks and technologies: XML, XSD, HTML, Page Object Pattern
- Knowledge of test data management: Jira / xRay / Confluence
- Knowledge of version Control tools: Git, GitLab
- Knowledge about IntelliJ IDEA
- Knowledge in Unix/Linux OS (command line and scripting)
- Experience in establishing, collecting and evaluating metrics
- English level Intermediate+ (B2)
- German level Intermediate (B1) is nice to have.
Nice to Have:
- Experience in working in a SCRUM team
- Understanding of telecommunication fundamentals
- Ability to develop and improve a test strategy based on new requirements
- Knowledge about Database : MongoDB

The meetings may last between 30 minutes and 90 minutes, during which time we will talk to you about mutual expectations and the vision for our collaboration. You will also most likely meet your future supervisor and your teammate during this time.

- At this stage, we will have decided that you are the person we want to develop our projects with. We will then come back to you with an offer of collaboration, hoping for your "yes". If for some reason, we are unable to offer you a position in our team, you will certainly receive feedback from us explaining our decision.
