Wood Logistics Team LeaderMiejsce pracy: KwidzynYour responsibilities
  • Develop a wood logistics strategy for roundwood and sawmill residues
  • Manage and develop relationships with wood transportation providers and other stakeholders
  • Develop and lead a small team of wood logistics experts
  • Arrange wood transportation for all wood assortments via road, rail and sea in a cost-efficient way
  • Source for new wood transport providers
  • Contracts’ implementations at MM facilities
  • Closely cooperate with colleagues in the wood sourcing organization to optimize the wood flow
  • Search for continuous process and cost improvements
  • Analyze spend data, underlying market drivers to refine sourcing strategy
  • Support change management and stakeholder’s engagement
  • Serve as liaison between the mill and suppliers
Our requirements
  • 5+ years in a leadership position for transportation, wood procurement or supply chain
  • 7+ years of experience in (wood) logistics
  • Strategic thinking
  • Proactive approach, creativity and self-motivation
  • Drive for results
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office tools
  • Good organizational skills
  • Flexibility for business travels
  • Excellence in written and spoken English and Polish
What we offer

You will be part of in our Wood Sourcing team. You will be responsible for wood logistics procurement for our Mill in Kwidzyn. In this role, you will be steering transportation operations and ensuring that all policies, procedures, and safety rules are followed. You will be dedicated to support our business through leveraging the volumes of transportation by sourcing, negotiation and implementation of cost effective procurement contracts.
