At SpaceIT, we are revolutionizing technology delivery in technology industries. As Head of Delivery, you will take charge of end-to-end delivery excellence, ensuring that all projects are completed within scope, on time, and aligned with client Statements of Work. This role requires a strategic leader with a hands-on approach to risk management, team mentorship, and continuous process improvement to guarantee the flawless execution of client engagements.


You will serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, drive project governance, and develop scalable risk management and delivery frameworks.


Key Responsibilities


Project and Risk Management

  • Oversee and ensure risk mitigation for all project deliverables, timelines, and outcomes, managing them end-to-end in alignment with SoWs.
  • Establish robust frameworks for systematic risk management to support seamless project execution and on-time delivery.
  • Define, maintain, and communicate detailed project plans while monitoring KPIs to ensure projects remain on track.
  • Proactively flag and address risks to timelines and project objectives, providing solutions to mitigate potential issues.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, business partners, and technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment across all projects.
  • Facilitate discussions with key stakeholders to guarantee all dependencies and resources required for delivery are identified, secured, and actioned.
  • Lead client and internal conversations to manage project scope changes, including handling requests for change.

Team Leadership and Mentorship

  • Leading the relationship between Business Development & the Sales team
  • Manage cross-functional teams, which consist of professionals with diverse skills and expertise from different departments, who collaborate to achieve a common goal
  • Provide strategic guidance to developers and technical teams to deliver maximum business value.

Process Optimization and Scaling

  • Develop and implement frameworks for continuous improvement of delivery processes to scale the business effectively
  • Expedite onboarding of new projects by standardizing and refining delivery methodologies
  • Identify and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency across all projects

Account Growth and Business Development

  • Identify growth opportunities within client engagements and provide consultative guidance to deepen relationships
  • Support business development initiatives by contributing to strategic account planning and expansion opportunities


Requirements and Experience


Professional Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in project delivery within a technical consulting environment, managing large-scale projects
  • Proven track record in overseeing complex projects with a focus on risk management and issue resolution
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams in a matrix environment and managing large PMO functions.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise SDLC and application deployment processes.

Leadership and Mentorship

  • Demonstrated ability to build, mentor, and lead high-performing delivery teams.
  • Proven experience guiding both senior and junior team members to enhance project execution and mitigate risks.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and align teams toward common goals.

Stakeholder and Client Management

  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with a history of managing relationships with business and technical stakeholders.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated success in account growth and partnership development through consultative engagement.

Technical and Analytical Skills

  • Strong problem-solving capabilities with experience in risk identification and mitigation.
  • Ability to develop and monitor project KPIs to track success and identify areas for improvement.
  • Familiarity with modern project management methodologies such as Agile and Scrum.

Education and Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field
  • Master’s degree is a plus
  • Relevant certifications are highly desirable
